For GoCPS --they have briefly delay the planned launch date to Oct. 10.

Dear Families and Students,

One of the most important priorities for GoCPS is that all families and students have the best possible experience with and access to the new platform. In order to make sure the system supports anticipated demand, we will briefly delay the planned launch date to Oct. 10.

CPS will extend the application deadline to Dec. 22, 2017 so that no student loses time in applying to school.

We look forward to offering an improved school application process for all our students.

All-City Performing Arts Groups

Attention 3rd-8th grade parents:
CPS offers excellent opportunities for your child to continue to study the arts on Saturdays through their All-City programs. These programs are free and fun opportunities for kids to make friends from other schools and have fun! Students can be at a beginning thru advanced level in their performing art form.

The following ensembles are open to Reilly students:
• Elementary Chorus (grade 3-8)
• Elementary Band (3rd - 8th)
• Orchestra (5th - 12th)
• Theatre (8th - 12th)
• Dance (8th - 12th)
• ALT-City (6th - 12th)
• Modern Rock Band (5th - 12th)

Modern Rock Band is run by Little Kids Rock, an organization that partners with Reilly and is excellent. Ms. Zelle highly recommends Modern Rock Band if your child wants the rock band experience.

Students participate each Saturday at either the North Location, Schurz High School, or the South Location, Curie High School, in a rehearsal with their ensemble. They receive exceptional instruction from highly qualified teachers each week. Students are then nominated to participate in the spring All-City performance which takes place in 2018.
Email allcityarts@cps.edu with any questions!
The first rehearsal will be on October 7th! Times: TBA

The application to join All-City can be found online at cpsarts.org.

Contact Ms. Zelle with any questions.
